Important Update on Shiatsu Funding
Currently, there are no healthcare rebates available for Shiatsu.
However, we are hopeful, as the 2024 Natural Therapies Review Report has recommended that Shiatsu funding should be reinstated after its removal in 2019. This recommendation to the Australian government brings us one giant step closer to seeing Shiatsu rebates return.
If you would like to increase our natural therapy choices, bring greater diversity and equality to the healthcare system, shaping it to offer new hope to those who it currently has no answers for, I encourage you to consider writing to your local Member of Parliament (MP).
