Identify & Maximize Your Strengths

Have you ever wondered what your strengths are?

Often times we may take our strengths for granted, so much so, that we may even be unaware of our own individual strengths. We can fall into the trap of thinking we have no strengths or even more scary….. is falling into the trap of thinking just because we are good at something that it is a strength and that we should use it.

In positive psychology a strength is defined as a pre-existing capacity for a particular way of behaving, thinking, or feeling that is authentic and energising to the user.

Knowing your strengths enables you to maximise them and work from a place of optimal functioning, development and performance

Scientific research shows that people who use their strengths are:

  • Happier
  • More confident
  • More resilient
  • More likely to achieve their goals
  • Faster at learning
  • More effective at developing themselves and growing individuals
  • More engaged at work
  • Perform better at work
  • Have higher levels of self esteem
  • Have higher levels of energy and vitality
  • Experience less stress

The Strengths Profile is a tool designed by international strengths expert and positive psychologist, and his team. It is underpinned by a decade of scientific data. It is the only validated strengths tool on the market that measures energy. Although it was designed specifically for career I also use what I have learnt from my strengths profile to improve all areas of my life.

It is a dynamic model which assesses 60 strengths across 4 quadrants based on the 3 dimensions –  energy, performance and use. It includes a comprehensive report and provides you with actions that you can implement immediately allowing you to capitalise on your strengths and maximise your performance and energy.

I highly recommend this. I had a strengths profile done for me by Jess and it has been enlightening. I have many useful strengths which Jess pointed out to me and perhaps I could have guessed them too, but what I didn’t know and has helped me the most is to understand what strengths are over used… and how they can become draining if overused by me because my personality gets bored of them pretty quickly… it is all depending on your unique qualities and it is different for everyone. So check it out!

I did a Strengths Profile Session with Jess in January and found it to be very insightful. Utilizing some of my unrealized strengths has helped me to drive positive change in my organisation which has been recognized by peers and my line managers. Jess is knowledgeable and helped me to be able to articulate some of my thoughts better to create a tangible plan in order to achieve my goals. Thanks for everything Jess.

I am overwhelmed by how accurate my profile is and how clearly you explained everything. I am now so excited and motivated to move towards my career goal; before our phone call I had no idea how it could happen.

I recently had a strengths profile session with Jess and it was very insightful. I did a strengths profile test which included career suggestions and Jess took me through the results, helped me to understand it, and how to best work with my strengths.
She showed me how I could use these in all aspects of my life and how to utilise other strengths that showed up that I wasn’t really using.
I learnt how to focus on doing the things that increased my energy and to decrease the time I spent on doing things that drained my energy.
I felt very inspired after our session and started creating straight away! (one of my strengths)
I love how Jess explains things in a very easy to understand way and how she inspires you come to your own conclusions as well.
She’s very easy to talk to and so kind, I highly recommend having a session with Jess

After some recent struggles at work and at home, jess suggested I complete a strengths profile to help find ways to approach and possibly fix some of the problems I was facing. After completing the quick test, Jess received the results and I was able to discuss them with her over the phone in the comfort of my own home. The debrief session was thought-provoking and comprehensive.  Jess gave me tips and tricks on how to use more of my strengths and less of my weakness that I didn’t know I had but were now highlighted. I was able to use both my strengths and weaknesses to better address the hurdles I was facing and came out stronger, confident and more willing to face adversities. I would highly recommend completing one of these quick and easy tests with Jess. She makes you feel very comfortable and is willing to listen and help guide you while you nut out the bigger picture.  Anyone feeling like they need some guidance or some extra encouragement to take on a challenge or just want to find out more about themselves, call Jess!

I recently did a strengths profile as recommended by Jess Baker. After completing all the questions the profile was delivered to me. I could only make a small amount of sense out of it.
But with a private one on one call with Jess it all became extremely clear.
Jess was able to interpret the profile in such a way that it made it very understandable. But not only did she clarify and explain all the nuances, she was also able to help me to set a plan of action.
Through her guidance I am able to draw on my strengths (especially the ones I wasn’t using) and now steer by vision
    in the direction I want.

Thank you, Jess for your patience and encouragement.
