A reiki session takes you to a place of such deep relaxation as you connect you with the universal energy. It melts away any tension physically, mentally and emotionally as you transcend to a place of unity. It connects you with your true essence and allows you to access that part of yourself that remembers how to heal, love, forgive, and brings you more peace, clarity and alignment to your soul.
Working with the universal energy that flows through everything, reiki can either be done in person or remotely. A reiki session works on many levels and as Jess holds this sacred space sometimes messages from past loved ones, guides or other aspects of yourself may come forward in a message. A reiki session may target a particular known issue or concern or it may be a more general session that allows the intelligence of the energy to flow where it is needed.
There may be times in a Reiki session that Jess may be intuitively invited to incorporate elements from her other modalities that will enhance the impact of the reiki.
Thank you for another amazing Riki session. You have an innate ability to understand what I need on the day of my appointment. You are a true healer. Thank you for your honesty, expertise, care and knowledge.
What is a Typical Reiki Session Like?
The client either lies on the massage table or is seated in a chair and the practitioner places their hands on or above the body and allows the universal energy to flow through them to the client.
The client may experience warmth, sensations of tingling, receive images or colours or simply experience deep relaxation as the healing is directed to the place where it is most needed guided by the innate intelligence and wisdom of the reiki energy.
Sometimes in a reiki session messages of love, inspiration, guidance and wisdom come through from spirit, however this is not the main intention of the session. If a message does come through in your session Jess will always seek your permission before sharing it as she understands not everyone is open to receiving these messages.
In a remote session the client is asked to be in a quiet place where they will not be disturbed. A similar process takes place as in person however with the power of focused intention allowing the energy to be transmitted to the client no matter where they are in the world. Although you do not even have to be connected through a phone or video call.
In these sessions Jess may also include a chakra healing to ensure the flow of energy is supported by the chakra system.
